RELICS VINTAGE ROCK
Jeff, Kath, Kerry and Brenda have now combined their talents in RELICS and have made it their mission to unearth precious gems and lost musical treasures of the 60s, 70s & beyond for your listening and dancing enjoyment. You won’t want to miss their energetic, theatrically charged performances!
Meet The Band
Relics is one of the newest bands to burst upon the Lehigh Valley Music scene, but they are by no means new to music, having roots in many well-known local bands and theater productions.
Jeff Butz (guitar, drums, vocals) is a multi-instrumentalist who played bass for Grand Alliance in the late 70s and appeared many times at the “over the border” clubs in New Jersey (Red Rooster, Lemon Twig) and has since played drums in many local theater productions.
Kathy Butz (vocals, keyboard, percussion) has been a lead actress in numerous college and community theater productions in the Lehigh Valley since the 70s and studied under the renowned opera teacher, Hazel Hefner, which enables her to sing everything from Joni Mitchell to Robert Plant!
Kerry McGuire (vocals, percussion, cajon) is well-known in the Valley as the energetic lead in many memorable theater productions over the last 20 years (Mary Poppins, The Music Man, Le Cage aux Folles to name a few) and he now brings his fantastic stage energy and vocal dynamics to RELICS.
Brenda McGuire (bass, guitar, vocals) has been a director, costume designer, and actress in many local theater productions including Pennsylvania Playhouse and Catasauqua High School productions. Many of you will remember buying records from Kerry and Brenda at Speedy’s Record Shop in downtown Allentown!
